Lucía Ponce Fontana, a graduate of Universidad Francisco Marroquín, began her career as an attorney and notary specializing in corporate, intellectual property, and banking law, advising various entities, including banks in Guatemala.
After obtaining her LL.M. from the University of Texas at Austin, she developed an interest in international law and corporate governance, leading her to advise and manage entities across various industries, both in Guatemala and abroad.
She is a founding partner of the law firm GPE Legal and serves as Director of the Corporate Law and International Law practice areas. Her keen interest in business led her to pursue studies in entrepreneurship and to become a founding partner, director, and board member of companies in the construction and business coaching sectors.
